On a global basis, Bajarin says the market for mobile devices is simply too large and regional imperatives too much of a wild card to call the market, particularly the relatively new tablet market, anything but settled.

“Every person on the planet has the potential to own one of these devices,” Bajarin said at the recent TabletBiz conference. “What if India, China or Africa decide to have very different platforms?”
