TabTimes Inc. operates the TabTimes.com web site and the TabTimes tablet apps, publishes e-mail newsletters and various information documents, and organizes conferences; all these are hereunder collectively referred to as our “Products”.
“User” or “you” means any person viewing any page of any of the Products.
“TabTimes”, “we” or “us” means TabTimes Corp.
“Site” means the TabTimes.com web site, inlcuding the events.tabtimes.com sub-site and the tabbyawards.com partenr site.
“Advertiser” means an organization which pays us to promote its own products and services on our Products.
“B2B Content” means a white paper, an analyst report, a webinar, a webcast, an e-mail newsletter or other document or media presentation that is linked to or displayed on in our Products.
“Content” means B2B Content and all other content, in text, graphic or video format, which we publish in our Products.
“B2B Content Sponsor” means a third party that owns or sponsors B2B Content in our Products.
“Sponsored B2B Content” means Content available through the Products and owned or sponsored by a third party.
“Member” means a User that (i) registers in our Products to become a TabTimes member or (ii) subscribes to a newsletter in one of our Products.
“Member Information” means information which a Member provides to us as well as Clickstream Data (as defined below) which we collect.
“Personal Information” is the information that identifies you as an individual, such as name, postal address, telephone number, email address, corporate title and name of the employer, and credit or debit card number.
“Other Information” is any information that does not reveal your specific identity, such as browser information, information collected through cookies and other technologies, demographic information, and aggregated information.
“Event Registration Information” means the information you provide us through a registration form when you register to attend a TabTimes in person event.
“Tracking Technologies” means Cookies, electronic images known as “clear GIFs” (sometimes called “transparent GIFs”, “Web bugs”, “pixel tags” or “beacons”), serving tracking technologies or other technology solutions performing similar functions that are used by us, by our technology providers and by business partners on our Products. Tracking Technologies are comprised of small bits of data that often include an anonymous unique identifier. Websites send this data to your browser when you first request a web page and then store the data on your computer so the website can access information when you make subsequent requests for pages from that site.
“Clickstream Data” means the data generated, by our server or through Tracking Technologies, in connection with your clickstream activity in our Products.
3. Scope of this policy
Some Sponsored B2B Content made available through our Products is maintained on the website of a B2B Content Sponsor. When you are on a TabTimes Product and click through to that Sponsored B2B Content, you may be leaving the TabTimes Product and, in some cases, will be redirected to the site or app of the B2B Content Sponsor and subject to the policies of that B2B Content Sponsor.
TabTimes Products also feature ads from Advertisers. When you click on an ad, you will be leaving the TabTimes Products and will be redirected to the Advertiser’s site or app and subject to the policies of that Advertiser.
4. How we and third parties collect information
4.1. Personal information that we collect
We collect Personal Information when you submit it to us, including but not limited to when you register for or subscribe to our Products, create a profile, participate in a contest, take a survey, use an interactive feature (such as “Send by email”), participate in a forum, request a Sponsored B2B Content document or register for a conference.

We collect Other Information when you submit it to us. It may include your gender, education, occupation, professional information (such as the line of business of your employer and the area or department you work in), interests, photos, and comments.
4.2.2. Other information we collect automatically
When you access our Site, we automatically collect certain information about those visits. For example, in order to permit your connection to our Site, our servers receive and record information about your computer and browser, potentially including your IP address, browser type, the time, information about the page you requested, and other software or hardware information.
We may use “clear GIFs” to track general user traffic patterns.
4.2.3. Third party personal information you submit
Our Products include a “Send by e-mail” feature, which allows you to email Content to a third party; we only use the email address of that person for purposes of emailing that Content to that person.
4.3. Other information that third parties may collect automatically
Third parties that support our Products by serving advertisements or providing services, such as promoting our app in their app store, providing users with the ability to comment on content, allowing users to share content, or tracking aggregate site and app usage statistics, may also use Tracking Technologies to collect Other Information. We may not control these third-party suppliers and their use may be governed by the privacy policies of third parties using such technologies.
5. How we use and, in some cases, share that information with third parties
In general, we use information about you:
- to provide the services, publications, and information you request and to manage your account with us.
- to deliver or display content and advertising that matches your professional interests and responsibilities.
- to contact you with information about and invitations for products and services – ours and other companies’ – directed to your professional interests and responsibilities.
- to offer you opportunities to connect directly with your peers and with sellers of technology that may be of interest to you.
- for any other purpose that we tell you about when you give us the information.
5.1. Member Information
We use Member Information to deliver email newsletters on topics of interest to Members who have requested those services. We may also send promotional and marketing materials to our Members, including marketing research surveys, as well as promotions for B2B Content items. TabTimes, in some cases utilizing a third party provider, may deploy surveys and incentives. We use Member Information in aggregated form to understand our customer base and to market our services to our customers. But we do not sell, rent or give away Member information to third parties.

The B2B Content Sponsors make the Sponsored B2B Content available through TabTimes in return for receiving the Member Information of Users who request their Sponsored Content, as well as, in certain cases, Clickstream Data from Users. Accordingly, if you request Sponsored B2B Content, we may disclose your Personal Informationand/or Other information to the B2B Content Sponsor, as set forth in more detail below.
5.4. Cookies and Clickstream Data
Linking Members to their Member Information allows our system to confirm a user’s identity on the Product and to save and recognize Member log-in information so that Members do not have to log in each time they use our Products or request Sponsored B2B Content.
We, an third party ad networks including Google, use Tracking Technologies for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to:
- Help us recognize your computer as a previous visitor, and save and remember any preferences that may have been set while you were visiting one of Products.
- Track, accumulate and report information on our Products and Content usage to our partners and customers so that they can measure the effectiveness of advertisements and content viewed on the Web Sites;
- Help us customize the content and advertisements you are shown while using our Products and potentially other web sites, by displaying relevant content, products, services and advertising;
- Determine which features Users like best to help us improve our Products, personalize your user experience, and measure overall Site effectiveness; and
- Display ads, on third party web sites, using a “retargetng” technology based on your previous use of the Site.
5.5. Other disclosure of information
We reserve the right to disclose information about you to third parties in certain circumstances: to suppliers that work on our behalf, to law enforcement or other entities that present valid legal process, to protect human safety or our networks or property, or as part of a sale or our merger of business assets.

If you are a member, you can access the Personal information you have submitted us, and correct it at any time, by logging in your account at http://tabtimes.com/user
7. How you can opt out of disclosure and use of your information
7.1. Membership Information and e-mail
You can avoid having your Member Information and Clickstream Data disclosed to B2B Content Sponsors by not requesting their content or by not registering to attend an event.
Following the registration process, Users may remove themselves from emailing lists at any time through the edit profile pages or by following the instructions at the end of any email they received from us.
If you do not wish to participate in market research surveys, simply opt-out of any survey email you receive.
7.2. Clickstream Data
Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, but you can change your settings to notify you when a cookie is being set or updated, or to block cookies altogether. Please consult the “Help” section of your browser for more information (e.g., http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Block-or-allow-cookies). However, some features and services may not be available to you if your cookies are disabled.

Our Products are not targeted to children, and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age.
