The study released today by job search engine Simply Hired found that job candidates are mostly using Android devices (44%) with iOS at 29% and Windows at 26%.

While there was not a specific breakout by brand, the study found that 75% of all job clicks came from mobile phones and 25% tablets. Simply Hired said it analyzed data from over 30 million job seekers.

Of that total, 30% of its job search traffic came from mobile devices. Simply Hired says it expects the percentage to climb to 50% by the end of 2015, with usage spread across platforms and job categories.

"Recent research estimates that only 20-30% of Fortune 500 companies currently offer mobile-friendly career sites and portals," said James Beriker, president and CEO of Simply Hired. "Recruiters must figure out how to serve the mobile user or risk losing out on a massive pool of candidates."
