Apple has today released the third beta of the new iOS 10.2.1 update. This comes around a month after releasing iOS 10.2 and around three weeks since the second beta of iOS 10.2.1.
The beta release of 10.2.1 is available only to Developers who can download it from the Apple Developer Center or via an over-the-air update with the appropriate configuration profile.
Given it is just a point release of iOS 10.2, there is unlikely to be anything majorly different in this release and instead appears to focus mainly on bug fixes and the standard performance improvements. No new features were called out in the first two betas and this is consistent in the third beta.
It was iOS 10.2 that saw the last major update to iOS that brought a ton of new features to the iPhone and iPad including a new TV app and new emojis.
If you’re a registered developer then you can head on over to the Dev centre on the Apple website to pick up the latest iOS 10.2.1 beta 3.
