There seems to be a race to come out with the lightest and thinnest Windows 10 notebook this year at CES 2017. One of the candidates is the newly revealed ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe, which packs in some solid hardware inside a case that’s just 12.9 millimeters thick.

PC World reports that the notebook has a 14-inch HD display that’s been made to fit inside a case that normally supports a 13.3-inch screen. The display also comes with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which should protect the screen from quite a bit of abuse, if need be.

Inside, the 2.4-pound ZenBook 3 Deluxe will have an Intel 7th Generation Core “Kaby Lake”  i7-7500U chip, and it can come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It will also have two  USB Type-C ports, and one USB-C 3.1 port. Finally, audiophiles will get the company’s SonicMaster Premium quad-speaker audio system in the notebook.

The starting price for the ASUS ZenBook 3 Deluxe is going to be a bit high, at $1,699. However, the notebook won’t start shipping until sometime in May so you have plenty of time to save up your money so you can get your hands on this impressive looking ultra-thin laptop.
