Lumos – Icon Pack

Lumos offers a substantial number of choices for customizing the icon scheme on your Android tablet. There are over 1,500 different icons, along with many wallpaper choices to change up your tablet’s look. The icons have the rounded corners of iOS combined with a matte appearance.

Code Anywhere

With so much productivity moving to tablets, it only makes sense that coding would be one of them. Code Anywhere wants to be the cross-platform tool for coding, as it recently launched a very strong Android tablet app.

The app performs code editing of CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and additional programming languages. Users can also access an FTP file server. The code editor has been intelligently thought for a mobile interface, with swipes and gestures to perform commands that are typically done with a keyboard.

The app connects to the cloud for editing of one’s code across Android, iOS, and the web.

Even though it seems like a technology in the rearview mirror from ‘80s, the need to send and receive faxes still seems to come up. The eFax Android app puts that capability on a tablet, enabling you to send images or files out as a fax.

Those interested can get a 30-day trial, which includes the full suite of sending and receiving faxes. Thereafter rates start at $16.95 per month.

IsLikely Weather Forecast

There are plenty of weather apps, but not so many that focus on those who work or are planning to travel to the outdoors. That's where the IsLikely Weather Forecast app shines.

The app focuses on forecasts for outdoor activities, such as camping, fishing, wildlife watching or snow sports. It also includes Doppler radar maps, 10-day forecasts and notifications based on your customized information for ideal weather.
