Best New Tablet Games: Go Angry Birds, gangster’s paradise, and may the force be LEGO

With dozens of new tablet game releases every week, it can be daunting to try to determine which ones are worth your time. It's never easy, but yet again we narrowed it down to ten suggestions.

The biggest game of the week is none other than Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, a long-awaited port of what's arguably the best GTA game ever. It's been enhanced for iPads, and despite the premium price you can hardly go wrong with this one.

That wasn't the only big franchise to get a new entry this week though; Angry Birds Go! graced the Apple App Store as well, not to mention the Google Play marketplace. A kart racer in true Mario Kart spirit, Go! is the Angry Birds series' biggest departure yet.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga crams all six films into one LEGO-fied package, though you'll be coughing up cash for in-app purchases if you want to play them all. And Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a worthy port of a classic Sega game.

The release of The Room 2 is big news for avid mobile gamers who loved the first entry in the mystery/puzzle series. And Sushi Snake is a fun twist on a classic game that some of you old-timers might remember playing on early mobile phones.

Ski Safari: Adventure Time looks fun despite being a licensed game, and Adventure Time is totally not just for kids FYI. Meanwhile Tale Tapper: Paddy's Quest is a cute little stealth game that unfortunately has nothing to do with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Finally, Icycle and Cyro are two indie games that deserve mention despite not quite making it onto last week's list.

Flip through the slideshow below for more on each new game. Their descriptions are taken from their App Store pages.
