Milind Gadekar is an expert in mobile productivity. The flagship product of his Palo Alto-based company, CloudOn, is a highly regarded cloud-based mobile workspace that allows employees to use Microsoft Office applications on tablets and smartphones. The app also synchronizes company files on Box and Dropbox, two of the largest cloud storage services.

CloudOn currently ranks number 9 in Apple’s App Store’s “Top Free” iPad productivity apps. It has just been declared a Finalist in the Utilities & Tools category at The Tabby Awards competition for consumer apps. This consumer app competition had a different judging panel – on which CloudOn did not participate. The business and enterprise app competition The Tabby Awards /Business just launched this week.

"It is an honor to be the chairperson for this year's Tabby Awards /Business," said Gadekar. "It is an exciting time as we make the shift to the post-PC era where tablets are going to be an integral part of our personal and business lives. New innovative enterprise-focused tablet applications are helping us work smarter and enabling new workflows. I look forward to working with a respected team of judges to review and recognize the best applications."
