The one-minute ad was published on YouTube today and shows off an unannounced HP tablet after 55 seconds. The tablet looks to be around 10-inches in size with a two-tone rear.
Given HP has already committed to making a Windows 8 tablet, and with the OS now just three months away, this ad may well show off HP's first attempt at a Windows 8 slate.
Previous reports claim that the tablet will be called the Slate 8 and will be Intel-powered, with Meg Whitman’s firm having already backed away from making an ARM-based Windows RT tablet.
Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system is due to go live to the general public on October 26, the same day as it launches its own-brand Surface tablets.
