The swashbuckling Assassin's Creed: Pirates has been updated with new survival missions that involve hunting whales. It's not cool in real life, but when you're a virtual pirate, who cares? In addition to the whales you can collect 50 different species of fish, plus two new ships, in the new survival missions.

The AC: Pirates update also includes a new campaign mission, one new map area, three more side missions, and new treasures and diary entries.

The classic RPG Knights of the Old Republic, on the other hand, has been updated with MFi controller support, a major plus for the game, which original appeared on consoles and PC. The update also adds cloud saves and additional language support.

Finally Disney Infinity: Toy Box got an update today that cuts some of the tablet/smartphone game's reliance the Disney Infinity console games. Players can now add toys to their toy boxes without having to go through the console game. Toy Box also got more tutorials, more pre-made adventures, a bunch of new in-app purchases, and “waves one and two hexagonal power discs,” whatever those are.
