Unlike the awesome Flappy-inspired games we highlighted this week, this new Flappy Bird clone adds nothing to the original formula. In fact, it seems to be an exact copy with a new name and a new title. And that is definitely not cool.
It's currently sitting at number 7 on Apple's top free iPad apps chart, indicating that people either think it's a real, official sequel—or they just don't care that it's a shameless, bare-bones clone. In related news, please stop playing 2048 and go play the real version, Threes!, instead.
Is any Flappy Bird good Flappy Bird? Or should fans wait for the official game to come back?
