The first update delivers a pre-tournament version of the app which includes:

  • a World Cup news section
  • the list of players and coaches from the 32 competing teams
  • a schedule of the 64 games
  • a virtual visit of Brazil and of the stadiums where games will be held

A second update, due just before the June 12 kick-off of the tournament, will add additional content:

  • match alerts from your favourite teams
  • live coverage of 64 games
  • what the FIFA promises will be “the biggest soccer conversation in history” via some kind of in-app chat
