The guidebook is available now for Android, iOS and PC users via Google Play, with Android device owners able to directly download the document to their device through the Google Play Books app.
Apple iPhone and iPad users are persuaded to go to http://books.google.com/eBooks using their mobile Safari browser to search and download the Nexus 7 guidebook, but this didn't seem to work for us or for CNET, who uncovered the news. A better way then is to search for the book via the Google Play Store.
The book itself covers everything from setting up the tablet and using the apps, to connecting with networks and other tablets, as well as securing your device. There are also some interesting tips on what you can do with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1), the successor to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0)
The Nexus 7 tablet isn’t due to launch until the middle of July, but it is now available for pre-order from the Google Play website.
