Considered one of the thinnest and lightest device among rugged handheld computers, the Nautiz 4 measures just 6.1 x 2.9 x 1.0 inches and weighs 11.6 ounces.
The device also includes a high-brightness, sunlight-readable resistive touchscreen and 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash.
The units come with a choice of either a high-performance 1D laser scanner or a 2D imager for what Handheld says is “super-fast and accurate scanning and barcoding tasks.”
The Nautiz X4 runs Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 and connectivity options include 3G and WiFi. The company says the Nautiz X4 also meets stringent MIL-STD-810G military test standards for overall durability and resistance to humidity, shock, vibration, drops, salt and extreme temperatures.
