Xiaomi is a name you will recognize because of  their affordable mid-range and flagship Android smartphones, but particularly in their home market, the company is known for a whole lot more. The wide range of peripherals and electronic products they have on offer include Smart TVs, and Xiaomi officially unveiled the latest iteration at CES 2017. Here is the first look, as we go eyes-on with the Xioami Mi  TV 4!

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 will be available in 49-inch, 59-inch, and 65-inch variants, and regardless of the version, the first thing that will stand out to you is how thin these televisions are. With a thickness of just 4.9 mm, the Mi TV 4 puts most smartphones and tablets to shame when looking at its profile, and the bezel-less frame makes them appear smaller than you’d expect.

Xiaomi was able to achieve this by moving all the essentials to the Mi TV Bar that houses the USB and HDMI ports, and integrates ten speakers, two rear satellite speakers, and a sub woofer. The Mi TV Bar connects to the TV via a single cable.

The Mi TV 4 also comes with support for Dolby Atmos Surround Sound, that will allow for a fantastic audio experience as well. Finally, the Mi TV 4 is running “Patch Wall” software based on Android, that features an AI that will learn from your viewing habits and offer movie and TV show recommendations based on your history.

So, there you have it for this quick look at the Xiaomi Mi TV 4! While the pricing and availability information is still unknown, it was mentioned that the 65-inch variant will not cost more than $2000, and the series will first launch in China later this year.
