LG is not well known for its notebooks, but perhaps they should be. Their LG gram family of ultrabook laptops are incredibly light and have terrific battery life. Today, the company started selling the 2017 editions of the Windows 10-based notebooks, but the prices for them start pretty high at $999.99.

That’s the price for the non-touchscreen version of the LG Gram 13Z970 notebook. The 13.3-inch laptop weighs just 2.07 pounds but has an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. Its battery life is also amazing, lasting up to 17.5 hours. The notebook also comes in a touchscreen version for $1,099.99 and its battery life lasts up to 15 hours.

The larger 14-inch LG gram 14Z970 notebook comes in two touchscreen models; one with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage for $1,199 and the other with a Core i7 chip, 8GB of memory and 512GB of storage for $1,499. Both models weight just 2.14 pounds and have a battery life of up to 14.5 hours. Both the 13.3-inch and 14-inch LG gram notebooks include a special Daylight Mode for their displays so they can be used under bright sunlight.

Finally, the 15.6-inch LG gram 15Z970 notebook is available in two 2.40 pound models. One comes without a touchscreen, but does have an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage for $1,199, with a battery life of 15.2 hours. The other model does come with a touchscreen, a Core i7 chip, 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage for $1,699, and a battery life of 12.5 hours. Both models also include a USB Type-C port that can be used for charging smartphones or for connecting to a video monitor.
