The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad is touted as the industry's first tablet keyboard fused directly into the folio's interior fabric. The keyboard has full-size keys and Logitech says both the interior and exterior fabrics of the folio are water resistant.

From a strictly functional view, cheaper iPad keyboard/cover combinations are available, but Logitech says the new accessories are both practical and cool.

“The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio and Logitech Folio give you more than just a protective case for your iPad, they add a distinctive accent to your iPad that reflects your personal style,” says Mike Culver, VP of brand development for tablet accessories at Logitech.

The new accessories are available in a range of colors from “Electric Blue” and “Sunflower Yellow” to “Mars Red Orange”, and fabrics from “matte leather” to “finely woven cotton."

Color expert and designer Beatrice Santiccioli, went so far as to say the new accessories "… has made owning an iPad unique again."

"I brought my knowledge in color and design to Logitech to help inspire the selection of materials and develop a color palette that builds a strong emotional connection to people's lifestyles," she added.

The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio is said to be the first Bluetooth keyboard with its keys seamlessly fused into an interior fabric. The keyboard's high-end fabrics are treated with a coating that is liquid repellent that Logitech says will help keep it looking new for longer. Hidden magnets hold the iPad in a choice of two positions for better viewing.

Both Logitech products are set to go on sale next month. The Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad has a suggested retail price of $149.99, while the Logitech Folio for iPad and iPad mini lists for $69.99 and $59.99 respectively.
