Microsoft’s trade-in your iPad program just got better – more devices, more cash

Now the software giant has decided to up, and decidedly broaden, the trade-in ante.

Although it's called a "Corporate Buyback Program" a Microsoft FAQ says it's open to "Anyone that's ready to trade up to an amazing new Microsoft device."

Aimed specifically at those wanting to trade-in used devices (iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, Samsung and others) for a new Microsoft Surface tablet, Windows PC, laptop or Phone, the buyback program offers up to $350 in credit towards the purchase of a Microsoft device.

Microsoft is working with a company called Clover Wireless to evaluate the used equipment and estimate its trade-in value. You can also trade-in more than one device.

The FAQ indicates many of the used devices will be sold overseas while some many also end up being donated to non-profits.
