Apple is rumored to be gearing up for a big press event in just a few weeks, and a full relaunch of its iPad tablet line could be its main focus. One of those tablets is rumored to be an all new 10.5-inch iPad Pro and this week, there’s new evidence that some third parties are indeed expecting that new model to go on sale.
The new info comes from Twitter user Marc Alonso, who has posted some heavily edited documents that allegedly come from an unnamed iPad case maker. That company seems to think Apple will indeed be releasing a 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and is preparing for that product by designing cases for it. Of course, this case maker could be completely wrong about Apple’s plans, so don’t take this as a final confirmation of this 10.5-inch iPad Pro. Previous rumors about this new model claim that it might have an edge-to-edge display in the middle, which may allow the larger 10.5-inch screen to fit in the smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro case.
Apple is also rumored to be working on full hardware refreshes for its older 7.9-inch, 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad tablet models, with plans to introduce them at their spring press event, followed by their official sales launch later in May or even June. The company could also launch a new red color version of the iPhone 7 at the press event, new bands for the Apple Watch, and possibly some upgraded storage options for the iPhone SE.
