The tablet was briefly listed on Google Play on Monday and the page confirmed that the tablet will have the same 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 resolution display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM.

It also detailed – rather unsurprisingly – that the model will likely launch with the Android 4.4 ‘Kit Kat’ operating system and noted the inclusion of dual-facing cameras (8MP rear-facing and 2MP front-facing), 32GB of storage and a larger 9,500 mAh battery. The tablet though is expected to still be thinner and lighter.

Despite numerous rumors over the course of the year, there has been very little information from Google in recent months as to when we can expect the next Nexus 10 tablet.

If the launch of last year’s model is anything to go by, next month would seem most likely with some commentators speculating that Google could even start selling the model on November 1, the day the iPad Air goes on sale.
