TinyCo and Fox announce free-to-play 'Family Guy' game coming in 2014

Twentieth Century Fox and mobile developer TinyCo today announced a new original game set in the world of Family Guy.

The new Family Guy game will feature an original plot influenced by the show and current events, and will be set in the Griffins' home town of Quahog. Players will be able to explore the town and recruit or "confront" its various residents, according to a press release.

TinyCo is reportedly working directly with the show's writers, "ensuring that players will enjoy an authentic experience complete with original animation and endless antics."

Don't know about you, but I hate when my antics end. Nothing else is known about the game, but here's hoping a certain late martini-loving dog makes it in somehow.

The free-to-play mobile Family Guy game is promised to iOS and Android devices some time in 2014.
