Mobile device management, tablet trends, developer issues and more were some of the hot button issues discussed at the first TabletBiz conference & expo in New York.
While we're preparing for this year's edition of the TabletBiz conference & expo in New York on Nov. 2013, full session videos from last year's event are available to TabTimes members. (You may register here; it's free.)
TabletBiz, focused on the key issues facing tablet managers and others responsible for tablet projects, covered such topics as BYOD, choosing the right OS: iOS vs. Windows vs. Android; Form factor: 7- vs. 10-inch vs. convertible; mobile device management; app development - custom vs. off-the-shelf; keynote presentations by CloudOn, Dell, Groupon and Roambi and more.
The event kicked off with an insightful overview of the tablet market by Creative Strategies analyst and TabTimes columnist Ben Bajarin. The full video of Bajarin’s presentation, as well as other speakers is now available to TabTimes members, one of several benefits that come with being a registered member.
TabTimes members can also check the TabTimes Resources page for the speaker’s presentation slides including those by Bajarin, Yankee Group analyst Carl Howe and Dell’s Vice President of Personal Computing Products, Neil Hand. The video of Hand’s “Embrace BYOD” keynote is also available.
If you manage or plan a tablet or app deployment in your organization, you may want to attend this year's TabletBiz conference & expo. You may even qualify for a free "tablet project manager" pass.
