Susan Lasota, CIO of Sales & Marketing at GE Capital, is the latest addition to the stellar lineup of mobile executives who will meet and speak at the TABLET STRATEGY conference in New York.

At GE Capital, the sales and marketing department have their own CIO: Susan Lasota, who has been integrally involved in the financial services company move to tablets. Since 2012, the financial services unit of General Electric has deployed 1,200 iPads. During her keynote presentation at TABLET STRATEGY, Susan will share insights and lessons learned during her company's aggressive deployment of iPads.

As a regulated entity, GE Capital has to pay considerable attention to security and device management. In her presentation, Susan will detail how it handles these important areas as well as its BYOD policy; what led to the company’s iPad purchases and subsequent development of custom apps, and its current pilot testing of new Windows tablets.

Now in its third year, TABLET STRATEGY -- the only tablets-in-enterprise conference -- allows IT and business executives to meet and discuss how to leverage tablets most effectively within their own organization.

More tablet execs join the lineup of speakers

In addition to Susan Lasota, TabTimes announces today two additional speakers who will share how tablets have empowered their sales force.

Mark Mangano, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hartford Funds, will discuss how the company has transitioned to iPads while continuing to leverage corporate resources like its Salesforce apps. Mark will share how Hartford manages a mix of iPads, BlackBerry’s, laptops and BYOD devices in a secure manner and update what the plans are for Windows tablets that the company has been piloting.

Mike Miranne, Senior Field VP & National Sales Manager at Pacific Life Insurance, will explain why his entire team is now iPad-enabled. A former #1 sales person himself, Mike will share how his sales team use tablets to drive revenue.

These new speakers add to an impressive list of previously announced executives including:

  • Steven Beggs, Sr. Manager, Leading Innovation at The Home Depot Canada, which is used as a testing ground for new mobile initiatives by the retail giant - including the distribution of pre-provisioned iPad Minis to store associates;

  • David Crain, Assistant Provost & CIO at Southern Illinois University (SIU), who led a large deployment of Windows 8 tablets;

  • David Goodman, CIO at the International Rescue Committee, a charitable organization who supports numerous tablet-based remote data collection programs around the globe;

  • Christopher Gish, VP of Sales at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, whose 500+ sales reps use tablets every day to make their sales calls more effective;

  • Jane Boulware, VP, Windows devices at Microsoft;

  • Hector Llorens, Platform manager, Business tablets at Intel; and

  • Alex Bratton, author of the forthcoming book, Billion Dollar Apps.
