The latest version of theIRapp adds several features designed to help public companies communicate better with their investors on mobile devices - iPad, iPhone and Android.
A native app, theIRapp 4.0 is a turnkey mobile technology available to publicly traded companies listed on all global stock exchanges. Its main feature is that it makes a company's investor relations (IR) information available through Apple's App Store for the iPhone and iPad as well as Google Play for Android devices.
Just by providing a ticker symbol and logo, theIRapp says a public company can have its own customized app available as a free download on the App Store and Google Play in less than three weeks.
Version 4.0 adds the ability for investors to download content for offline viewing as well as the ability to add events to calendars through a new Events module.
theIRapp incorporates Google Analytics into its content management system (CMS). Through the CMS, subscribers have a window into the real-time engagement of their mobile IR content and IR app usage, including which pages are viewed, time spent on individual pages, as well as geographic regions where users are accessing the company's IR content.
"With the new functionality, both the buy- and sell-side now have greater flexibility to consume important and proprietary company content including conference calls, presentations and videos when they are traveling," said theIRapp's cofounder Jeff Corbin.
"Analysts who cover multiple companies can download each company's conference call which presently only is available through the desktop. They can listen to the calls in the air, while driving or when they have free time away from the office."
