The Galaxy NotePro 12.2 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition have been recently approved by the Defense Information System Agency (DISA).

The two tablets got on the Approved Products List (APL) of DISA at the same time as three Samsung smartphones: the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S4 Active and the Galaxy Note 3.

All run Android 4.4. (Kit Kat) and feature Samsung Knox technology. Knox creates a secure “container”, within the device, for professional apps and content.

The APL serves as a reference for the U.S. Armed Forces, U.S. Government agencies and security-sensitive organizations.

The list already includes most recent iPad versions as well as the Asus Transformer Prime TF201.
