Logitech announces four new accessories for Apple’s iPad Air

by TabTimes Staff

October 28 2013

Not to be left behind by rivals Zagg and Kensington, Logitech today unleashed four new keyboards and cases for the Apple iPad Air.

The FabricSkin Keyboard Folio, Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, Ultrathin Keyboard Folio and Folio Protective Case are all designed to fit the iPad Air and are due to launch starting from next month.  The tablet itself is expected to hit U.S. retail stores on November 1.

The Ultrathin Keyboard Folio costs $99 and offers an integrated Bluetooth keyboard, stand and battery (which can last for up to three months). The aluminium Ultrathin Keyboard Cover comes in at the same price but lets users dock the iPad and use the cover as a stand.

The Folio Protective Case is predictably markedly cheaper at $49.99 as it doesn’t come with a keyboard, although it does sport an adjustable stand which can hold the iPad Air at a number of different angles.

Last but not least is the $149 Fabric Keyboard Folio. It features a Bluetooth keyboard with full-size keys, can be used in two different angles and offers two-sided protection. The case is also water repellent.
