What could be easier than swiping on a tablet screen, or pressing an icon?

Well, it may be easy, but the constant pressing on a hard glass surface can be literally a pain to people with nerve injuries and arthritis or even to heavy touchscreen users without health issues.

Enter Taptool. Well, not quite yet. For now it's only a prototype. Creator and physical therapist Matt Weiner says he's planning to launch a crowdfunding campaign for his Taptool finger accessory on Kickstarter soon.

The mobile accessory made of injection molded engineered plastic is designed to absorb vibrations and relieve stress from your finger and joints. It might also have potential in the healthcare industry as a more hygienic way to use touch devices like tablets in a hospital or clinic setting.
