Tablified Market arrives to help find tablet-optimized Android apps
The developer behind the platform (Tablified Apps) have a number of restrictions when developers upload their apps, meaning that scaled-up phone apps are instantly pulled from your app search. As well as this, Tablified Market operators look-out for apps that integrate Android’s Action Bar and use the tablet-specific Fragments API.
On closer inspection, Tablified Market lets users search for apps with keyboards, browse by category or peruse through lists like Editor’s Choice and Recently Added. After the user selects their preferred product, they are then greeted with a brief description, screenshots, and comments, much in the same layout of the traditional Google Play store.
A basic version of Tablified Market is now available for free, and there is also a Pro version which costs $1.49, which gets rid the adverts, and allows users to search apps by price, rating and stars.
