Accounting software provider Intuit has updated its QuickBooks Mobile app so SMBs can create, send and receive invoices, as well as record payments, all from their Android tablet.
The application, which also allows businesses to view customer profiles, has been optimized for Android tablets and is available for free to QuickBooks Online subscribers from the Google Play store.
“Small business owners want to get more done everyday, so mobile apps afford them a fantastic way to stay organized and productive from either their computers or mobile devices,” said Dan Wernikoff, Intuit senior VP of financial management solutions, who added that QuickBooks Mobile users have tripled in number over the last year.
“With tablets becoming pervasive, we’re creating QuickBooks Mobile experiences that take full advantage of the devices’ unique capabilities to help small businesses save time managing their finances.
"Today we’re giving customers what they want – a native tablet experience for our fast-growing population of Android users.”
