Pandora, the world’s largest online radio service, has rolled out a new version of its Android app which is specifically for tablets.

As a result of the update (version 5.0), the app sports a user interface better equipped for larger screen as well as new functions, like the ability to view more details on an artist or album or to add music variety of a radio station.

Furthermore, listeners can jump straight from the ‘Now Playing’ screen to Amazon to buy the track, or access an artist’s profile page which includes their biography, discography and song lyrics. Users can also share recent tracks on Facebook (using the Pandora Timeline app) or share links to specific stations on Twitter.

As well as the new Android app (free, Google Play), Pandora also has an app for Apple’s iPad (free, iTunes).
