Digg’s iOS news app got a significant update today with users now able to use its fledgling video curation service to pick out the most popular videos doing the rounds on the Internet.
The update sees the free app move to version 5.3 and introduces Digg Video, which pulls in videos based on how much interaction they are getting on Digg, Facebook and Twitter.
In addition, Digg promises that the app offers faster scrolling and says that there are fewer crashes.
As before, users are able to read the latest news articles, find and follow online publishers, writers and bloggers and save articles to Digg, Instapaper, Pocket and Readability. Alternatively, readers can share these out via Facebook, Twitter, email and SMS.Source article
