Cloud storage and file-sharing provider Dropbox has released new versions of its iOS apps for iPhone and iPad. The new version sport a whiter, more minimalistic user interface that brings it in-line with other iOS 7 apps.
But it's not just about looks. The new apps also include new features, including the ability to share links and files with nearby iOS 7 devices using Apple’s AirDrop function.
Also, the iPad app now lets you toggle between a full-screen and split-screen interface.
"The new Dropbox app is a bit like a new beginning for Dropbox on iOS," said Tim Van Damme, a designer at DropBox, in a blog post that hinted at additional new features in the works.
"While many things will feel familiar, we hope you'll notice the small tweaks that make a pretty big difference. And maybe best of all, it sets the stage for some exciting things to come."
