Google improves editing tools on Google Drive Android app

Google has made a few useful changes to its Google Drive Android app, including the ability to find and replace text.

The application (free, Google Play) promises an array of new and improved editing tools, including ‘find and replace’, tablet management and named styled.

There’s a further bonus too for tablet users in that they can view files in a two-column layout, while app users should also find that they can now rename scanned images and documents before they are uploaded to the cloud.

Google Drive took over Google Docs earlier this year and the updated Android app is expected to be available to all compatible devices in the coming days.
