Google Play Store update tweaks design, makes reviews more accessible

by TabTimes Staff

December 6 2013

A new version of the Google Play Store is set to roll out soon and will include a few key new additions that should improve the overall user experience.

Last month Google Play got an overhaul for tablets, while this latest update is focused on apps, in-app purchases, and reviews.

For example, the reviews and 5-star rating system has been overhauled with a much bigger star selector area. Also users can easily find an edit button to update reviews in a matter of seconds, and save the changes.

Users should also appreciate a new notification indicator that lets you know right up front if any given app has in-app purchases before you download it.
