Initially available via the web, Google has now released its handy Android Device Manager service as an app on its Google Play store.

Android Device Manager (ADM) is designed to let you locate, ring, lock, and wipe devices remotely that may have been stolen or simply lost.

The ADM app has exactly the same functionality as the web version, but the interface is faster and better suited to a mobile device screen.
