Box has formalized its many alliances and integration partners with the announcement of the Box Partner Network. The Network includes the company’s Box Channel Program and Box Platform and API for developers.
As part of the news, Box announced a number of new partners that will integrate its Box Embed, an HTML5 framework designed to integrate Box’s content and collaboration service with third party applications. New partners include CollabNet, Clarizen, Fonality, TIBCO’s tibbr and Tidemark who join the 10 inaugural partners of Box Embed announced last October.
“Content and collaboration sit at the heart of almost every business process,” said Aaron Levie, co-founder and CEO of Box. “With our growing network of partners and developers, Box has a huge opportunity to help businesses navigate this massive shift.”
Box also announced that over 17,000 developers are building custom apps and integrating with the platform.
