The global competition for the best tablet apps is running at full gear, with over 100 submissions already received. It now announces who will chair its judging panel.
Christopher Cunningham, tech director at Huge digital agency headquarters in New York, has been named chair of the Tabby Awards 2014 consumer app competition’s judging panel. As chairperson, he will oversee the 30 independent judges from 8 countries who will review the iPad and Android apps submitted to the competition.
Huge is one the largest and most recognized digital strategy, marketing and technology agencies, with offices around the globe serving leading brands worldwide. As tech director of its head office, Christopher Cunningham is at the forefront of consumer and technology trends in mobile.
“Tablets are now clearly recognized as a specific form factor,” says Christopher. “Developers who leverage this specificity create immersive, addictive experiences on iPads and Android tablets. I am thrilled to be part of the only competition for tablets apps and eager to review the many apps and games that developers are submitting from the world over.”
The Tabby Awards consumer app competition currently welcomes submissions in 48 categories, covering all types of consumer apps and games. It has already received more than 100 entries from a dozen countries. The judging panel will select finalists and then declare winners, who will be celebrated at a ceremony in New York City on November 6, at the TabletBiz conference & expo.
