Groupon UK is now offering the Vektor for £99.99, and says that the Android 2.3 tablet would usually set you back £229.99 (around $365). The deal had helped Hipstreet sell 285 tablets as of 11.45am GMT, but is only valid until midnight (GMT) tonight.

The Vektor tablet is a 7-inch Android tablet, and offers a capacitive touchscreen display, 4GB of storage (expandable to 32GB), mini HDMI and USB ports and a slot for a micro SD card. The slate supports WiFi and there’s also an in-built camera, and Android Market (now Google Play) so users can gain access to thousands of Android applications.

Hipstreet, which is based in Ontario, California, is more commonly known as a consumer electronics retailer and claims to have over 6,000 retail outlets across the globe, including some stores in India.
