A new leak suggests that Samsung is preparing to launch a new Android tablet with a stunning 2560 x 1600 resolution display in the near future.

A device codenamed SM-P900 was spotted on a Samsung website which lists ‘User Agent Profiles’, files which mobile devices refer to so in order to identify themselves to web servers.

Japanese tech blog RBMen found three variants of the SM-P900– SM-P900 (thought to be the 3G version), SM-P901 (Wi-Fi) and SM-P905 (LTE) – and each of these list the tablet as having a 1.4GHz processor, the Android 4.2.2 operating system and a screen size of 2560 x 1600.

Perhaps because of this, Samsung fansite SamMobile believes that the model in question could be the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, a tablet which is expected to bear some similarity to Google’s Nexus 10.

Previous reports have claimed that the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, which is apparently code-named ‘Roma’, has a 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 resolution (possibly OLED) display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of memory and a powerful 9000mAh battery.
