In what was probably the world’s worst kept secret, Samsung has confirmed that it will unveil its next Galaxy Note phablet or tablet at the IFA tech exhibition in Berlin, Germany next month.
Samsung confirmed the news by sending out press invites over the weekend, invites which urged journalists to ‘Note the date’ of September 4.
This news doesn’t come as some great surprise, although we will have to wait to see if the new model is of phablet or tablet proportions.
Speculation leading up to the event suggests that it will be a third-generation Galaxy Note phablet with an improved 5.7-inch display, 3GB of RAM and an Exynos 5 processor.
Samsung launched both the first and second generation Galaxy Notes at the exhibition, while there are rumors that this year’s event could see the introduction of the firm’s first smartwatch.
