Samsung has confirmed that its 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega phablet will arrive with U.S. data carriers AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular by the end of the month.

The Korean company didn’t expand on that information with specific price and availability deals, although AT&T did later announce that the model will become available on August 23 and starting at $150 on a two-year contract.

Announced back in April, the Galaxy Mega has a 6.3-inch 1280 x 720 screen, runs Android 4.2.2 and sports a dual-core 1.7Ghz processor.

It also has some very unique features that won’t find on Samsung’s other devices, namely the ability to use the phablet as an infrared remote controller for a TV and ‘S Translator’ for instant language recognition and translation.

There is also Samsung’s Group Play service for sharing content between up to eight devices on the same Wi-Fi network and the ‘ChatOn’ feature for sharing what’s on your screen with family and friends.
