With one week to go before Samsung takes the wraps off its first smartwatch, a new report claims to detail the device’s features and specifications.

Sources from Samsung’s warehouse facility apparently told tech website AmongTech that the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will have a 2.5-inch 320 x 320 resolution OLED display, a 10-hour battery life, 1GB of memory and either 6GB or 8GB of data storage.

The device is also said to have an integrated camera with a 4 megapixel sensor and which is capable of recording video in 720p, and is supposedly powered by Android Jelly Bean (it’s unclear at this time if the version will be Android 4.1 or 4.2).

Earlier this week, Samsung exec Lee Young-Hee confirmed that the Galaxy Gear smartwatch will debut at the IFA tech exhibition in Berlin, Germany on September 4. TabTimes will be reporting live from the show.

I doubt that this watch will have an integrated camera. The privacy issues would be huge....
