Samsung developed Knox software to offer better security with its Android devices and the company says its continuing to invest in improving it.
Although there are few details as to new features or when it will be available, Jae Shin, VP of Samsung's Knox Business Group says Knox 2.0 will offer more security features and work in more devices.
Knox is currently included with Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet, which just became available last week in the U.S. The security layer is also being offered with some Galaxy S4 smartphones.
One example of what Knox offers is the creation of a secure boot so only authorized applications are on the device.Source article
