The tablet, first announced at IFA in Germany last month, is set to retail for $349.99 and offers a smart 8.3-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and runs Android 4.2.2 with a custom LG user interface layered over the top.

There is also dual-facing cameras, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, as well as connectivity for a micro SD card.

There is a little more to the G Pad than meets the eye however. The excellent ‘Q Pair’ app let you sync your tablet to your phone – allowing you to reply to messages or phone calls on either device – while the Slide Aside feature will let you multi-task on up to three apps simultaneously.
