UK supermarket giant Tesco sold approximately 400,000 of its own-branded Hudl tablets in the UK in the three months since its launch in October 2013 to the end of the year.

The Guardian reports 100,000 Hudl tablets were sold over the Christmas holiday period alone.

The 7-inch Hudl tablet starts at £119 (approximately $190 U.S) but the supermarket offers shoppers with Club Cards the ability to apply their store discounts towards buying the tablet. The Hudl also has a Tesco shortcut button to Tesco’s online services.
