Google working on remote control apps for Android and iOS to access PC and Mac

Google plans to join the field of vendors offering so-called remote control apps that let you control a remote computer from either your Android or iOS device.

The search giant is working on what it calls a “Chromoting” tool for both Android (first) and then iOS later.

iOS users would have to use the Chrome browser instead of Apple's Safari but, as 9to5Mac points out, Google would have an edge over competing services on price, which is expected to be free.
