Google's manufacturing partner Asus could debut a new Nexus 8 tablet later this year, according to a "supply chain" source close to Digitimes, a Taiwan-based news site that tracks supply chain developments.
The tablet will reportedly debut sometime after February and could be powered by Intel's Bay Trail processor. At CES earlier this month Intel CEO Brian Krzanich said Bay Trail tablets would arrive in the second quarter.
Google has also been known to debut new devices at its annual Google I/O developer's conference. The date for Google I/O in 2014 hasn't been released yet but the 2013 event was in May.
