If a recent FCC filing is any indication (and it probably is), HP is getting set to release a new version of its HP Slate 8 Pro Android tablet.

The current version of the 8-inch tablet sports a 1600 x 1200 pixel display, an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, Android 4.2 software, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage and sells for $329.

But now an unannounced model called the HP Slate 8 Pro 7650 showed up at the FCC website recently, though it don't detail a lot of information as to what the device will include that's different other than it will run the newer KitKat version of Android, 4.42.

Likely improvements would be an improved camera, more RAM and faster processor, but that's just speculation at this point.
