The carrier is taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z2 starting July 10 at its website. Sporting a 10.1-inch display, the Android tablet is only a quarter of an inch thick and weighs less than a pound.

Price is $599.99 or (for a limited time) $499.99 with a new two-year activation. Verizon says it's also going to give customers who pre-order the device will an MDR-NC31EM Noise Cancelling headset for free while supplies last.
