Apple fixes minor iOS 6 bugs with iOS 6.0.1 update

Most the updates in iOS 6.0.1 are to fix issues with the iPhone
Apple has released an update to iOS 6 which fixes a number of minor bugs relating largely to issues on the iPhone 5.

The new update can be downloaded either wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch or by launching iTunes. If you choose to download wirelessly over the air, you will need to go to ‘Settings’, ‘General’ and then ‘Software Update’.

As rumored about prior to its release today, the iOS 6.0.1 update alleviates previous problems, such as the inability for the iPhone 5 to install software updates wirelessly over the air, and fixes other issues relating to horizontal lines appearing on the keyboard and the camera’s Flash not going off.

Apple launched iOS 6 in September of this year, and is expected to roll out the next update – iOS 6.1 – ‘after the holidays’, according to Boy Genius Report.
